🎧 Water Walkin Warrior hits his groove as Christian DJ

DJ3W is in a groove with Jesus.

Brian Culshaw likes to put his 6-foot-4 frame behind a mixing table and lead hip-hop fans into praise that moves them. 

His DJ moniker comes from Water Walkin Warrior, a name that evolved with his skills and faith. “Water walkin’,” of course, comes from what Jesus did on the Sea of Galilee and signifies Culshaw’s readiness to get out of the boat as a believer (Matthew 14:29). “Warrior” was added on as he went on runs with friends who prayed like, well, prayer warriors.

The music he loves and shares spans hip-hop, R&B, reggae, dancehall, and afrobeat.

Where he’s at

Culshaw performs many typical DJ duties, including weddings, parties, basketball games, Bible camps, and school dances. 

“I’m pretty much the only DJ that Peoria Christian School has trusted for their homecoming and proms,” he said.
