🔔Christmas worship options
If you don't have your Christmas Eve/Day worship planned yet, here are some options we're aware of:
- Bethany Baptist Church, 7422 N. Heinz Lane, Edwards, will have Christmas Eve services at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The church notes that no child care will be available.
- First United Methodist Church of Peoria, 116 Perry Ave., Peoria, will hold special Christmas Eve worship at 4 and 7 p.m. Tuesday. The 4 p.m. service will be traditional; the 7 p.m. service will be bilingual.
- Great Oaks Community Church, 515 State Route 116, Germantown Hills, will have Christmas Eve services at 4 and 6 p.m. Tuesday. There will be worship, a cocoa bar, and a "festive experience." Child care will be available for children up to 4 years old.
- Ignite Church, 3707 Dayton Ave., Peoria, will have a Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The service will include a message and music. Children's ministry will be available for ages birth through first grade. A special offering also will be taken for the church's Compassion Fund, supporting those in need at Ignite and in the community.
- St. Mark Catholic Church, 1113 W. Bradley Ave., Peoria, will have a family Mass at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, with carols starting at 4, and another Mass at 10 p.m. There will also be Mass at 7:30 and 9 a.m. Wednesday.
- St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, 424 Lourdes Church Road, Germantown Hills, will have Mass at 4:30 p.m. and midnight Tuesday. The church will also have Mass at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
